Education and Experience
Angelique earned a B.A. in English (emphasis in writing) from the University of Florida, and she is completing a M.A. in Professional Counseling with a Trauma Counseling concentration at Liberty University. Angelique also completed the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) Track 1 and 2 training. She is currently auditing courses at the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF).
She served as a lay counselor at Living Hope Bible Church in Mansfield, Texas, and she completed her counseling practicum at Christian Counseling of Mansfield. Prior to entering the counseling field, she served in ministry as a leader or co-leader of women’s support groups.
Currently, Angelique is a Graduate Student Intern under the supervision of Shanda Anderson, LPC-S.
Interests & Specialties
Angelique has worked with women suffering marital emotional abuse, depression, and post-abortion grief and healing. It’s her desire to counsel women with various life issues, especially those experiencing trauma through sexual assault, as well as couples. Angelique believes that as people encounter the abounding grace and gospel of Jesus Christ, heart change takes place, resulting in transformation from the inside out.
Angelique is a native Floridian who moved to Texas in the fall of 2014. She enjoys sharing a good cup of coffee or tea with others, watching classic movies, reading, walking, and photography.
