CPRT is an attachment based curriculum based on the filial therapy model.  CPRT teaches parents play therapy skills that support healthy attachment and relationship with their children.  CPRT is most often taught to parents with children ages 3-10 (though exceptions older/younger can be made) within a group setting over the course of 10 weeks

Why Attend?

For parents who are wanting to build a foundation of trust with their children, strengthen their playfulness in relationship with their children and learn how to set healthy boundaries and limits, this group is ideal.  In addition to the education provided, you will be in a group setting with the ability to learn from other parents seeking to support their children in the best possible way.

Facilitated by

Crystal Wilkins, LPC, RPT.

Crystal Wilkins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist working at Austin Stone Counseling Center.  Crystal began teaching CPRT classes in 2012, and it continues to be one of her favorite things to do.  Empowering parents in their relationship with their children is where she feels she does some of her best work as it impacts a child for the rest of their lifetime.
