Education & Experience

After receiving her Masters in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University at College Station, Leslie worked as an associate psychologist with at-risk families in several rural counties. From there, she has worked in a variety of settings but mainly private practice. She has worked with individual adults, adolescents, college students, families, couples, children and groups. Leslie has been LPC certified since 1998.

Interests & Specialties

Leslie enjoys working with clients to find a sense of identity and purpose, and most importantly, real peace and joy through Jesus Christ. She has dealt with many issues including anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma, self-harm, abuse recovery, empty nest struggles, life transitions, relationship issues, shame/guilt, aging issues, college journey and child-parent relationship struggles. She enjoys working with parents on improving parenting skills and communication with their children. Mostly, she likes sharing the Hope that comes only from Jesus Christ.
