Education & Experience
Mary graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Samford University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. Before pursuing a full-time career in counseling, Mary worked within the adoption and higher education communities.
Mary is passionate about working alongside her clients to provide holistic care for adolescents, adults and couples. God has been gracious to us by revealing information about the brain and mental health through ongoing developments in neuroscience. Mary utilities these common grace revelations in her biblical counseling. Her hope is that through counseling in this way, individuals and couples can discover what is holding them back from living an abundant life in Christ.
Interests & Specialties
Her current areas of focus include: adolescents, anxiety, perfectionism, shame, depression, faith/doubt issues, relational conflict, transitions, self-esteem issues and trauma.
