Education & Experience

Donna received her BS in Elementary Education and went on to complete a MA in Educational Supervision at the University of North Texas in Denton.  In 2007, after teaching 27 years in the Texas public school system, she completed her MA in Christian Counseling at Andersonville Theological Seminary.  In 2008, Donna completed the Equip to Counseling training offered by The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX.  While attending The Village Church, she served many years in the Recovery Ministry in the role of ministry leader, small group coach, 12 step coach, sponsor and mentor. In the area of women’s counseling, mentoring, and coaching for the last 10 years, Donna has invested a significant amount of time working with women to apply biblical truths of the gospel into the realities of their daily lives.

Donna’s hope is that through biblical counseling a woman will grow to more fully know, trust, love, and exalt Jesus Christ.  One of her greatest joys is to see women begin to better understand their struggles through the lens of the gospel.  It is Donna’s desire that hearts and lives will continue to be transformed and healed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
