Interests & Specialties
Eric’s initial interest in and heart for counseling came from young musicians approaching him for help with things like abuse and depression. After meeting more and more young men who had lost close friends to suicide, Eric started pursuing suicide prevention and awareness in the secular non-profit realm, but soon realized that a major missing element in their lives was a real relationship with Jesus. Eric works with men in the areas of gospel identity, sexuality, same-sex attraction, and anger.
Eric has lived in Austin since 1995 and lives on the southeast edge of downtown Austin. He spends most of his time outside of work at coffee houses or going to concerts. His hobby was live music until it became his job, so now he is also pursuing writing.
