Education and Experience

Jeremy Hamann is a graduate counseling student at St. Edward’s University in south Austin. Jeremy is doing his year-long practicum at the Austin Stone Counseling Center where he has also volunteered at the front desk administratively. Jeremy is a former campus intern at the Austin Stone and has a long history of ministering to high school and college aged folks with Young Life. Before he went back to school to get his Master’s degree Jeremy also worked in marketing at several Austin companies.

Currently, Jeremy is a Graduate Student Intern under the supervision of Dr. Jon Bergeron, PhD.

Interests & Specialties

In terms of counseling, Jeremy loves to help others see how the gospel of Jesus can impact and transform every area of our lives. In particular Jeremy works with individuals of all ages, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, life-change issues, faith questions, callings, and interrelationship struggles. 


Jeremy and his wife love to garden, run, camp, be with friends in their Missional Community. The Hamanns also try spend as much time as they can in the mountains of Colorado, where the two met as backpacking guides.
