Education and Experience
Jessie received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
She has previous clinical experience at a Clubhouse, a strengths-based program for individuals with mental illness, and at the Victim Intervention and Rape Crisis Center at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Jessie focuses on the social, psychological, biological, and spiritual aspect of each client she works with. She believes that it is in the context of relationship that change, wholeness, and life happen. Her hope is to provide a safe space where her clients can come as they are to explore their relationships with themselves, their loved ones, their communities, and with God.
Currently, Jessie is under the supervision of Katie Romeo, LCSW-S.
Interests and Specialties
Jessie provides counseling to adolescents and adults on a wide range of personal and relational issues including post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment to life transitions, identity, emerging adulthood, chronic illness or family members of those with chronic illness, communication and conflict resolution.
